Wedding Photography Gloucestershire
We had such a great time with Louise and Laurence on their Engagement Shoot that we just knew their wedding was going to be fantastic. The wedding was at the lovely Hare and Hounds Hotel in Westonbirt. The hotel has a lot of character and atmosphere and the well maintained grounds meant we were spoilt for choice for photo opportunities.
So with high hopes we awoke Saturday morning to …. torrential rain!
Thankfully, the bods at the Met Office arranged for a dry and bright spell from noon till 5pm before the heavens opened again.
Laurence is a big James Bond fan so I guess that the weather threat was part of the days theme – Octopussy? There’s quite a lot of water in that film too.
Sadly, no one had thought to bring along a white Persian cat to complete the days images, so Laurence had to improvise …

Here’s a few photos…
“Thats no problem Mrs Smith, Just take two more tablets and call me in the morning if its still no better….”
To be fair, the best mans speech surely wasn’t going to be that bad….?!
No, we’d never seen a dress laced up as fast before either…
Ignoring a super injunction – the fearless paparazzi appeared over the top of the hedge…
Now we know that you’re thinking ‘So, we could do all our own wedding photography’, but its not true. Honest.
Phew! Its only the garter!
But, what to do with it? New grooms new suit still has all the pockets stitched closed…
…lateral thinking…always a winner in our book!
‘Ahh, Mr Bond. We’ve been expecting you. (Sorry about the cat)’
